Milbank Brewery – NY 443b

It is unknown exactly when Milbank Brewery began operating, but we know it was sometime around the end of its predecessor, John Murry Jr. Brewery - NY 443a in 1840, this brewery stopped around 1852. As a Pre-Prohibition Brewery, any advertising items or collectibles are likely to be valuable and desirable to collectors as they tend to be hard to find. Milbank Brewery was in an active brewing city. New York City, NY was listed as having 220 breweries, which is quite a few. Sometimes a large number of breweries can lead to an active collecting community that will be willing to pay more for breweriana items than other collectors.
