Peter Walter Brewery was producing starting around 1858, we do not know how long it was open exactly because the date it closed is unknown. As a Pre-Prohibition Brewery, any advertising items or collectibles are likely to be valuable and desirable to collectors as they tend to be hard to find. Peter Walter Brewery was in an active brewing city. St. Joseph, MO was listed as having 16 breweries, which is quite a few.
