The Cold Spring Brewing Co. opened in 1933, we do not have records that show when the brewery closed so we can only guess. This listing was active during Prohibition which makes it an oddity. Some breweries were able to stay in business by producing "near-beer" which was very low alcohol, some switched over to bottling sodas or other beverages, some became Ice-houses or other related businesses. Our information indicates that Cold Spring Brewing Co. was the only brewery that was located in Cold Spring, MN sometimes this means that items from a brewery will have extra value in the area it comes from because there are not other sources for local breweriana.
